Vitoplex low temperature oil/gas boilers and steam boilers

Low pressure boilers in the Vitoplex range are characterised by their low combustion chamber loading and particularly clean combustion. In three-pass boilers, the combustion gases are conveyed away from the combustion chamber through three rather than two flues. This not only reduces pollutants, but also results in lower energy costs – all thanks to the efficient operation and lower fuel consumption of the Vitoplex. In the following section, we provide an overview of the Vitoplex range and the technical features of the individual models.

Vitoplex 200 and 300 – three-pass boilers with many benefits in common

Viessmann Vitoplex are low temperature boilers for gas or oil in the output range between 405 and 2000 kilowatts (kW) for use in large residential, commercial and local authority buildings, new build and modernisation projects. The Vitoplex range is categorised into two levels, both technically and in terms of price – the Vitoplex 200 and Vitoplex 300. Both models share economical and environmentally responsible operating modes and an extraordinarily high standard seasonal efficiency [to DIN]. In addition, they are equipped with the easy to operate Vitotronic digital control system including colour touchscreen. An integral LAN interface and WiFi ensure seamless internet connectivity and communication with the service interface. Alongside these similarities, there are also differences in the Vitoplex range, which we briefly explain below.

The compact Vitoplex 200 steel boiler is available in an output range from 440 to 1950 kW. Its compact design makes it easy to manoeuvre into the boiler room – even when space is tight, which is particularly advantageous when modernising existing buildings. Nevertheless, the Vitoplex 200 has a large water capacity. This enables long burner runtimes and fewer switching intervals, making it gentle on the environment.

The particularly economical and durable Vitoplex 300 steel boiler is available in an output range of 405 and 200 kW. Its multi layered convection heating surfaces made from triplex pipes ensure high operational reliability and a particularly long service life. It is also equipped with the integral Therm-Control start-up system, which renders a constant increase in the return temperature unnecessary – this saves installation time and additional outlay.

The Vitoplex LS low pressure steam boiler in the output range 0.26 to 2.2 tonnes per hour (t/h) is suitable for use in trade and commercial enterprises that require particularly low steam pressures, such as launderettes and bakeries.
