High performance module for power from the sun
An 8.5 m² area of photovoltaic cells is sufficient to cover the average power consumption of one person. When building a suitable system, Vitovolt 200 is the powerful photovoltaic module you need, at an attractive price.
On-site consumption, feed-in remuneration and various subsidy programmes make the investment worthwhile. Moreover, the property is enhanced and its value is increased.
All components are matched to each other
Thanks to its low weight the fully wired module is particularly easy to install on the roof. The inverters and installation systems are matched to the individual photovoltaic system; cables simply need to be plugged together on site.
Vitovolt 200 photovoltaic modules are available with monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon cells. Monocrystalline solar cells a particularly powerful and are recommended for small roof areas facing south. By contrast, polycrystalline modules with their lower level of efficiency are primarily suitable for relatively large roof areas.
Our PV modules are suitable for installation on the roofs of detached houses and apartment buildings, as well as on commercial and industrial premises.
Vitovolt 200 photovoltaic modules
Vitovolt 200 photovoltaic modules are available with polycrystalline silicon cells up to an output of 265 Wp.
The photovoltaic modules consist of a glass laminate in which the individual solar cells are embedded in two plastic films. A weather-resistant cover film is used for the reverse side. The pane and foils are then laminated together to reliably protect the cells against external weathering.
The plug-in module is particularly easy to install on the roof due to its low weight.

Data sheets | Technical data
Electricity from the sun. 8.5 m² of photovoltaic surface is enough to cover the average electricity consumption of a German citizen.
For photovoltaic roof systems, there are currently two options for utilizing the solar power generated: The power can either be partially or completely used by the customer or fed into the public grid.
Those who produce their own electricity receive a guaranteed payment from their grid operator for 20 years. This is regulated in the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), according to which the energy supplier must purchase the electricity not used by the company itself and feed it into its grid.
In recent years, feeding all of the solar power into the grid has generally been more financially attractive. Falling feed-in tariff rates, on the one hand, and rising costs for electricity purchases, on the other, are making the self-consumption option increasingly attractive. The electricity costs per kilowatt hour are usually noticeably higher than the remuneration rate for the kilowatt hour of solar electricity fed into the grid.
Under these conditions, the interest of many building owners in this type of electricity generation is growing:
● Make a visible contribution to environmental protection. Photovoltaic systems reduce pollution and conserve natural resources.
● Solar power can already be generated today at a significantly lower price than the purchase costs for household electricity.
● They increase the attractiveness of your property and increase its value. Viessmann photovoltaic systems are designed to operate for decades. Thanks to their simple operating principle, they work absolutely reliably.

Efficient on-site consumption of solar power
Since generating solar power on-site is cheaper than drawing power from the grid, on-site consumption offers financial advantages. An optimised system concept with perfectly matched components ensures this high level of on-site consumption.
